Tickets are now available for the new budget airline Scoot. One-way economy class fares to Singapore start at SGD76 (USD60) from Bangkok, Thailand; SGD158 (USD128) from Sydney or the Gold Coast, Australia; and SGD198 (USD160) from Tianjin, China. Prices include all taxes and airline surcharges. Promotional prices are available for travel dates now through October 27, 2012.
Promotional fares are available until sold out. The quoted prices are one-way “FLY” fares and extra charges apply for checked luggage and on-board meals and beverages. A credit card fee of SGD8 (USD6.50) applies per flight per passenger.
Scoot is the low-cost, long-haul wing of Singapore Airlines. Flights will begin in July 2012 and initial destinations include Bangkok, Tianjin, Sydney, and the Gold Coast. Scoot also offers business class seating.
