The Ritz-Carlton Millenia introduces its Celebration of Art and History package, valid from now till 29 December 2010. Rates start at SGD960 (USD700) for a two-night stay in a Deluxe Kallang Bay View room.
One of the hotel’s features is a 4,200-piece collection of contemporary art and sculptures by artists such as Andy Warhol and Dale Chihuly. During their stay, guests can enjoy a self-guided podcast tour of the hotel’s collection.
In keeping with the hotel’s focus on art, the package will offer guests a docent-guided tour of the Singapore History Gallery and the Singapore Living Galleries at the National Museum and a visit to the studio of acclaimed artist Ong Kim Seng. An appointment with the artist is, however, subject to his travel commitments.
